What will the quote cover?

Ask for venue, ceremony team, planning fee, flowers, food, interpretation, transport, taxes and service charges as separate lines. Your date, guest count and venue determine the written quote.

What happens before we book?

Send your dates, guest count and budget in Thai baht. After a conversation, Jia checks availability and prepares an outline. Review the total, payment schedule and cancellation terms before paying a deposit.

What if it rains or a parent needs step-free access?

We ask the venue to confirm an indoor alternative, walking distances, toilets and seating before finalising the layout. Tell us about mobility, dietary and language needs early.

Is legal registration included?

Our enquiry covers ceremony planning. If you also want legal registration, confirm the requirements with the relevant district office and your embassy separately.

Planning your Chiang Mai wedding from abroad

Australia or the UK: what should we settle before booking flights?

Ask Jia to check your proposed date with the venue and ceremony leader. Request a written outline with the indoor alternative, guest capacity and deposit terms before inviting guests to make travel arrangements.

USA: can we plan the ceremony across time zones?

Send two call windows with your city and local time, your guest estimate and your preferred ceremony. Ask for a written running order that relatives in another time zone can review without joining the call.

Singapore or Malaysia: can the family tea ceremony and Thai blessing share one day?

Start by listing who will receive tea and who will give blessings. A private tea ceremony, a break to change, then the water blessing and family lunch is one possible sequence. Ask the venue about dietary requirements before choosing a menu.

India: can we add a Lanna blessing to our own family ceremonies?

Share the rituals you want your own officiant to lead, expected guest count and meal requirements. Jia can check space, timing and local ceremony support before quoting.

China or Hong Kong: how can we plan with relatives who read Chinese?

Share the ceremony guides in simplified or traditional Chinese before choosing a package. Send Jia your date and questions by email if that works better for your family.

Let’s plan your day

Share your preferred month, guest count and the traditions you would love to include. Jia can then check suitable venues and discuss your budget.
